Basic Fire Alarm Installation
This class is designed for first time installers. Basic Fire Alarm - Hands On
This class will have students install pull stations, horn/strobes, smoke detectors, duct detectors, tamper switches, flow switches and monitor modules. Students need to attend the "Basic Fire Alarm Installation" class on April 12 or have worked with fire alarm systems previously to be able to attend this class.Online sign-ups are not currently available for this class.
Lightning Protection/Exothermic Certification Training/Irreversible Connections
Please note, the class on February 23 was originally scheduled as "Duke Energy Requirements". Due to a scheduling conflict with the instructor, the topic will now be Lightning Protection taught by Bill Cramer. Instructor - Jack MenkeThis course will prepare students to take the State of Ohio Fire Alarm Exam.
Please note, this class does not register you to take the exam. You must first be approved to sit for the exam. The application can be found at https://www.com.ohio.gov/documents/FireProtectionExamApplication.pdf. Once the state approves your application, they will send you a link to register to take the exam. PSI is the local agency that administers the testing.
